Privacy policy
White Mastering Studios (hereafter "WM STUDIOS") places great importance on protecting your personal data. This policy describes what data we collect, why we process it, and the rights you have, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978 as amended.
1. Data controller
This policy covers the website. For the data processed when purchasing and activating a software licence, see the privacy policy for licences.
The data controller is WM STUDIOS, whose details appear in our legal notice. For any question regarding your data, you can write to us at contact@whitemastering.fr.
2. Data collected
We only collect the data strictly necessary, which you provide voluntarily:
- Identification and contact details: name / artist name, e-mail address;
- Information about your music project: requested service, description, deadline, listening links;
- Where applicable, the audio files (mixes, stems) you send us via our upload form.
3. Purposes and legal basis
Your data is processed to answer your request, provide a quote and follow up on your project. The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual and contractual measures taken at your request, as well as our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiries.
4. Audio files you send
The files you send us are used solely to carry out the requested service. They are never published or shared with third parties, and are deleted from our servers once the project is delivered or the request is closed.
5. Recipients
Your data is intended only for authorised staff at WM STUDIOS. It is never sold, rented or transferred to third parties. It may pass through our technical providers (hosting, e-mail service) strictly as needed to process your request.
6. Retention period
Contact and project data is kept for as long as necessary to process your request, then for 12 months after the end of the project, unless you request its deletion. Audio files are deleted after the service is delivered.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, object to, restrict and port your data. You can exercise these rights by writing to contact@whitemastering.fr or via our contact page. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the French supervisory authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
8. Cookies
This site is static and uses no tracking cookies or advertising trackers. No browsing data is collected for statistical or marketing purposes.
9. Hosting
The site is hosted by OVH (2 rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix, France). The servers are located within the European Union.
